Construction Skills

As an Industry Training Board ConstructionSkills collects levy and offers grants for training to registered employers.

As a Sector Skills Council, ConstructionSkills works with the industry to ensure that the right people with the right skills are in the right place at the right times.

Eastleigh College

In 2006/2007 Eastleigh College enrolled 3,500 construction workers alone onto its Train to Gain programme. Due to the college's partnership success, in 2007/2008 Eastleigh College was awarded national Train to Gain contracts to deliver both transportation and construction qualifications

Trainto Gain

Funded by the Learning and Skills Council, Train to Gain is the national skills service that supports employers of all sizes and in all sectors to improve the skills of their employees as a route to improving their business performance.
