ITQ
ITQs are a national qualification for people who use technology as part of their everyday lives.
They have been developed to be suitable for every company, large or small, however, ITQs are also highly valuable for those who need to know about technology in their lives outside work.
ITQ Units can be taken at a variety of levels which gives flexibility to enable the qualification to meet everyone’s ability. The qualification will allow candidates to apply knowledge, understanding and skills to a level that is recognised by employers and is suitable for candidates using IT systems in a wide range of job roles.
Credit can be given for any existing, recently achieved, IT qualifications, so prior learning isn’t wasted.
Learning and Skills Solutions can design the ITQ so people can become expert in skills directly relevant to their business or personal interests.
Some of our recent ITQ programmes have been used by large companies to qualify staff using IT in their current job roles and unemployed people who are looking for work and wanting to enhance their IT knowledge to help with CV preparation and on-line job search activities.
ITQ units can be certified on an individual basis if a full ITQ qualification is not required.
